Google Editions
Google is jumping into the fray with the long-awaited Google Editions service, set to launch by the end of the year in the U.S. and first quarter of 2011 internationally.
According to the Wall Street Journal, the online ebook store will allow users to download millions of books for free," reports the Telegraph.
Those wishing to download ebooks for their ebook readers, computers or smartphones will pay 80 per cent of the print edition's lowest price.
